NEPAL

Nepal is a beautiful country of 31 million people located in the Himalayas, landlocked between India and China. It is the size of Tennessee. The capital is Kathmandu where 1.6 million people live.

It is one of the poorest countries in the world, with 1/3 of the country living below the poverty line. 90% of the people work in subsistence farming with an average income of $80.00 per month.

Nepal is home to Mt. Everest the highest mountain in the world at 29,032 feet.

Of the 227 different people groups in Nepal, 218 of those people groups are considered unreached. 81% are Hindu, 10% are Buddhist, 4% are Muslim and an estimated 1% are evangelical Christians.

God is at work, hundreds are turning to Christ in the least reached areas of Nepal.

Support a Church Planting Pastor From Nepal

I was born and brought up in a Hindu family. I used to be very sick. This illness made me very sad and discouraged. I wanted to get healed completely from this illness. I tried all sorts of medications. I also did all sorts of rituals and went to different temples and worshipped gods and goddesses. But all these remained in vain. I was even more discouraged and gradually began losing all hope of living.

One day I got the chance to hear about Jesus and His miracles where I received hope. After accepting Jesus as my Savior I found for my soul a new peace and my body started to get healed.

Right now I am completely healed and am working for Him and giving my full time to spread His words. Jesus has been working amazingly through me. He has given me the power to cast evil spirits and preach His words. I want to do more work for His kingdom. I am always grateful for His kindness and mercy upon me.

I am called to preach God's word to bring the lost souls and to plant churches. We are planning to reach 5,000 people through the gospel sharing movement and establish 5 churches in Nepal. Please pray for me.
