Frequently Asked Questions

How can 360Serve send 100% of donations to where it is designated?

Vision Driven Christians believe in 360Serve so strongly, they cover all our administrative costs, so 100% goes to where you designate it.

Does 360Serve offer short term mission trips?

The countries where 360Serve supports indigenous church planting pastors are often considered "hostile." Traditional short term mission trips place Americans at risk and place our indigenous church planters at risk as well. 360Serve limits trips to pastors who are aware of the risks.

What is an indigenous church planter?

An indigenous church planter is typically a younger man or woman who is born in their country. They speak their language and know their culture. They are believers in Christ who are called by God and trained to go, often at great risk to their lives, into the "least reached" areas of their country and share God's love, bring the gospel and plant house churches among those who have yet to hear about Jesus. The average indigenous church planter will lead 120 people to Christ and plant 2 house churches each year. After they plant a house church they will turn that house church over to a pastor or leader who will shepherd the flock. The church planter will move on to plant the next house church. Church planters are always bringing the gospel into new "least reached" areas, it's the passion of their life and the passion of 360Serve.

What does $50 of support do for an indigenous church planter?

The vast majority of the indigenous church planting pastors we support live and serve in third world rural areas where the average wage is $1.50 to $2.00 per day. $50 per month is a great blessing. It is hard for us to imagine, but $50 per month provides food, rent, sends their kids to school and most of all, it helps a church planter quit their job working in the fields for $2 per day and helps them to serve the Lord full time in gospel ministry. It changes a church planter's life!

What is The Great Commission?

The Great Commission is not the Great Suggestion, it is Jesus' final command given to us as Christians and his church. The command is to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation which includes all least reached people (Mark 16:15). We are to make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything Jesus taught (Matthew 28:19-20). It's Jesus' command to bring the gospel to every people group on earth!

What is a "least reached people" and why does 360Serve target least reached people?

1 out of 3 people on earth live in areas where they have yet to hear the name of Jesus. We call these "least reached people." 360Serve supports indigenous church planting planters who bring the gospel and plant house churches in these least reached areas in fulfillment of the Great Commission, so every people group on earth can have the opportunity to hear about Jesus. "Why should anyone hear the gospel twice, before everyone has heard it once?" Oswald Smith
